Beloved Children of God Worldwide,
주안의 사랑하는 형제 자매 여러분,

January 14th, 2009 is the 102nd anniversary of the Great Pyongyang Revival, the most important Christian revival in Korean history and foundation for the profound growth of the Korean Church, which took place in what is now known as North Korea. The revival was a movement of repentance and began with a deep conviction and acute awareness of sin, the confession of sin and crying out to our Lord in utter repentance. As a result of this movement of repentance the Holy Spirit came down in a powerful way and the Korean Church grew and became fruitful.
2009년 1월 14일은 북한 땅에서 일어 났던 한국 역사의 가장 중요한 기독교 대 부흥, 그 평양의 영적 대 부흥 102주년을 기념하는 날입니다. 이 영적 대 부흥은 죄를 깊이 각성하고 주님께 애통하며 죄를 고백하고 나아감으로 시작된 회개 운동이었습니다. 이 회개 운동의 결과로 성령님의 능력이 놀랍게 임했고 결과적으로 한국 교회의 놀라운 부흥과 열매를 가져 오게 되었습니다.

As believers from northern Korea tarried before our Lord in repentance, confession of sin and prayer into the deep watches of the night, Christians worldwide are called to follow their example by holding overnight repentance and prayer meetings for North Korea around the world.
북한에 살던 신앙인들이 깊은 회개와 기도, 죄를 고백하며 밤이 늦도록 하나님의 임재를 구했듯이 온 세계 기독교인들이 그들을 본받아 북한을 위하여 철야하며 회개로 중보하도록 부름을 받았습니다.

For the genocide which has continued unrestrained for over half a century, we mourn and repent. (Matthew 25:31-46)
북한 땅에서 지난 반세기가 넘도록 아무런 저지도 없이 무분별하게 만행되어 온 학살 행위를 우리가 탄식하며 회개합니다. (마태복음 25:31-46)

For the millions who have been murdered through starvation, torture and execution; we mourn and repent. (Proverbs 24:11-12)
굶주림과 고문, 처형으로 살해 당한 수백만 북한 동포를 위해 우리가 탄식하며 회개합니다. (잠언 24:11-12)

For the millions of North Korean families who have been torn apart and bereaved, we mourn and repent. (Matthew 18:1-14)

한국 역사의 가장 중요한 기독교 대 부흥은 오늘 날 우리가 알고 있는 북한 땅에서 일어 났고 그 평양의 영적 대 부흥 102주년 기념일인2009년 1월 14일에 있을 '북한을 위한 글로벌 회개의 날' (Global Day of Repentance for North Korea)을 위해 우리 모두 상하고 통회하는 심령으로 금식하고 중보하며 서로 연합 합시다. (호세아 10:12) (요엘 2:12-27)

As believers from northern Korea tarried before the Lord in repentance, prayer and confession of sin into the deep watches of the night, we also set apart 7PM-2AM as a time of global repentance and intercession for the complete healing and release of the North Korean people to fulfill God's eternal purpose and redemptive plan. (Isaiah 42:6-7)
북한에 영적 대 부흥이 일어나던 당시 그 곳에 살던 신앙인들이깊은 회개와 기도, 죄를 고백하며밤이 늦도록 하나님의 임재를 구했듯이 우리도 북한의 영혼들에게 온전한 치유와 자유가 임하여 하루 속히 하나님의 영원하신 뜻과 구원의 계획이 그들에게 온전히 이루어 지도록 범국가적으로 함께 기도하기 위하여 지금부터 저녁 7시 – 새벽 2시를 회개와 중보의 시간으로 정합니다. (이사야 42:6-7)
